Neck pain is extremely common worldwide, affecting over 1 in 3 adults. It is estimated that about half of all people will have a clinically significant episode of neck pain in their lifetime!

Neck pain has a variety of causes, including physical or mental stress, poor posture, muscle spasms, trauma such as whiplash injury, and age-related degenerative changes (spondylosis) in the neck.
